Cycle Instead in Spring Bike to Work Challenge 2009 Final Results

In 2009 there were 1646 registered participants took part in the Cycle Instead Bike to Work Challenge in 208 teams from 97 companies. Employees from Albany, Broome, Leinster, Bunbury, Esperance, Narrogin, Merredin, Mandurah and all around Perth cycled to work.

On this page you will see the Bike to Work Challenge weekly results graphs of kilometres cycled by all participants and companies.

You can select your company from the drop-down menu and go to your company results page. There you will be able to select your team and go on to the team results showing the kilometres for each team and individual rider.

In six weeks we’ve travelled 466,625km. Thats over 11 times around the world.
This converts to a saving of around 128,800kg of CO2 emissions in the environment.
We’ve saved of around $73,000 in fuel costs.
Around 55,000,000 kilojoules in energy have been burned during your rides. This equates to approximately 45,000 Mars bars.
