Petanque

Petanque is French boules.
Teams consist of four players.
It is played with steel balls (approx 500g). The game is played by tossing a small wooden jack a distance of 6 - 10 metres, then each member of each team attempts to place their boules close to the jack.
Trophies will be awarded to winning teams in each division.

Competition dates: Wednesday, Sept 14, 21, 28 Oct 5, 12, 19.
OR Thursday Sept 15, 22, 29 Oct 6, 13, 20.
Teams: 4 players.
Divisions: Male, Female, Mixed.
Playing Times: 12:15pm, 12:45pm & 1:15pm.
Venue: Wednesday at Wellington Square OR Thursday at Supreme Court Gardens/ The Esplanade.
COST: $130. per team.
