Touch

Touch is a rugby based game where tackles are replaced with a touch by a defending player on the player with the ball. Minimum force is used to effect a touch and no other contact is permitted between opposing players. Attacking players can only pass the ball to a player behind them and must place the ball over the end line to score. After a touch the defending team must retreat 5 metres from the touched player. A send off rule will apply.
The competition runs for five weeks plus a finals week.
Trophies will be awarded to winning teams in each division.

Competition dates: Wednesday, June 30, July 7, 14, 21, 28, Aug 4.
OR Thursday, July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, Aug 5.
Teams: 6 people with up to 4 reserves.
Divisions: Male, Female, Mixed.
Playing Times: 12:15pm, 12:45pm & 1:15pm.
Venue: Wednesday at Wellington Square OR Thursday at Langley Park.
COST: $300. per team.
